Project Head Start 2010

Project Head Start 2010 is a not-for-profit organization aimed at young mothers. Six times a year they provide a little giftbox to provide a smile for a family. In the giftbox is a pack of diapers, a few outfits, a couple toys and whatever other donations they receive. To be eligible for the giftbox you must apply every month when the application opens up. The song is loosely based on a true story about a 21-year young man from the urban community. He is about to give up on life because he never did anything right in the eyes of his mother. To top it off, he is stuck at home because he cannot afford to move out and pay his own rent. He dropped out of high school and has no job, and he refuses to work as a supermarket box handler. This song, It Is Just A Phase, brings hope to the young man. I understand how this situation makes him feel. But, this will not last forever. If he believes in himself and makes the first move toward his dreams, then God will take over and turn things around in his life.
