Artistgyan.com – Interviews of upcoming Artist from Mumbai. Present Guest Sushmita Man is a student of Sir JJ School of Art. She is studying Bachelor of Fine Arts – Painting (Drawing and Painting). How did you get in to Fine Arts? I was good at Arts from childhood. My mom had interest in drawing and she helped me to learn first few lessons. Cousins were also in to drawing. Took part in competitions. Gradually my interest kept getting stronger. Did intermediate and Elementary Drawing class. Attended hobby class. Balanced my studies during 10th 12th board exams. gave entrance exam for JJSchool of Arts and I am here now. What inspires you or motivates you to do Art Work? My environment and nature helps me to keep doing good work. Take inspiration from everyone around colleages friends teachers parents. And specially Mom is very supportive. Where do you see yourself in next 5 years? I want to compete with myself. Do much better work then what I do today. Reach at some good position and keep learning for life. Contribute to Art line. If you get 5 lakh rupees. How would you spend it? [smiles] There are so many things that can be done. I will start with buying set of colors. Materials, fees and any things that are need for my further Art education. Keep some part for my personal investment. Also spend some with friends and family to have some good time.
