What do you think happens to the children whos parents and family abondon them?

I.E. Drug users, prostitutes etc… When social services takes them. What do you think happens to them?
For some reason you have it in youre head that these kids are there becouse they are the bad ones. They are not. socity abandoned them long before there parents did. I was one of these kids. I wasent ever placed in a "loving foster home" i was placed in a old delapitated orphanage, That was shut down recently due to the amount of children winding up in the E.R. Foster care is big money buissness just like oil.

Im reading the ads for the work at home sites in the back of the parent’s magazine.
I always thought most things listed in those magazines would be legit. But as i went to each website, it one almost says the same thing. It ask for a number where they can reach u. & they all say money back guarantee. So how is it, that these websites r in the ad for parents magazine? Has any one tried to look up these sites too?

My parents cosigned a student loan for a family friend but that person isn't paying loan, what can they do?

This family "friend" needed my parent’s help to get a student loan, so my parents cosigned the paperwork. The "friend" stopped going to school, stopped paying the loan, and used the money for other things. The bank contacts my parents that the loan has not been paid and my parents pay it. Do my parent’s credit get hurt by this? Also, what can my parents do to get out of the contract since the "friend" stopped using the money for its intended purpose?

My mother was adopted, and it has been difficult finding out any information on her biological family. She did hire a private investigator but it seemed they just wanted more money out of her. So we are resulting to the internet now…. any suggestions? Thank you for your help! =)
She was born in Newburg, NY.
