What are some good financial retirement plans for parents after passing on family business?
Posted on 12. Aug, 2010 by Eve.
I am taking over the family business soon (Worth approx. 0,000)
My parents are worried on how they will still sustain financial freedom after passing on their company to me. It is primarily a cash business and I want for them to retire without having to worry about money. They have savings but nothing is in the bank. (Old Asian generation mentality)
I propose treating them like company board members that take a certain percentage from the business, while I keep the rest for expansion opportunities. What will be fair for both sides? Thank you.

Campaign for young parents?
Posted on 02. Jul, 2010 by Eve.
Are there many or any campaigns to help young parents ?(single mum, dad, or patners)
I would like to start a campaign to help young parents.
-providing information/classes
-donating baby products/clothes to those in need
so i’d need donations either of money to buy baby products/clothes, or have people donate them.
And have group meetings every now and then to see how they are going, and also provide information to parents and parents to be.
i dont know if something like this exists, all i know of is young mothers group.
is this a good idea?
i just want to know your opinions so be honest.
sorry for making this long.

Would it be rude if I suggest certain brands of baby products to people buying a shower gift for me?
Posted on 28. Jun, 2010 by Eve.
I am pregnant with my 4th child and I don’t really need much as far as baby clothes and gear are concerned, but my mother in law wants to have a small diaper and bath shower for the baby. My dilemma is that this time around I want to avoid using regular bath products as I have recently heard news stories about the chemicals in them being harmful to little babies. I would prefer using natural/organic products but they do cost more. Would it be rude of me to tell everyone that I would prefer they buy those product instead? I would hate for people to buy the regular stuff only to waste their money because I won’t use it.

a few questions about starting a business ?
Posted on 18. Jun, 2010 by Eve.
I live in Australia, and i am passionate about starting a business but i have a few questions.
i will give a brief explanation of the business i wish to have and then i’ll ask a couple of questions.
the aim: helping young parents and young parents to be (single and/or patnered)
age group: 15-25
age group:(child). 0-5
I dont want to give money directly to young parents because the purpose is for their kids to have what they need. So what i would like to happen is for people to donate either money to buy baby products/clothes or people to donate those things.
Get young parents to register. make packs of things that they would need, or make them specify things they really need.
My questions are.
does it HAVE to be a non-profit business?
how to get people to donate?
how to get people interested in being involved?
how can i get volunteers?
and ofcourse what do you think of this idea?
anything else you want to add, please do so.
