Vote here! bit.ly You can vote 10 times a day until Febuary 9, 2011. Music changes lives. It inspires us, moves us, and offers us an experience like no other. As adults we can be transformed through music. With young children, it can be part of their initial formation, stimulating them developmentally. Our goal is to introduce music to young children by offering a Kindermusik class free of charge to low-income teenage moms. In January of 2011 we begin monthly seminars offered to young moms providing support, education, and fun through Fine Arts! Community Development Outreach Ministries offers the New Life Program to teenage moms. We educate, empower, and prepare these young women to be the best moms they can be! In addition to our annual retreat the New Life Program is expanding to a monthly seminar at which we hope to include a Kindermusik class free of charge. A Kindermusik Good Beginnings Grant will help us purchase the CDs and instruments for the moms, and offset the cost of the teacher. Many of the moms we work with are from low-income homes or are now living on their own. What a gift for them to be able to participate in a Kindermusik program!
