2Pac – Brenda’s Got A Baby
Posted on 30. Jul, 2010 by Young Parents Guide.
“Brenda’s Got a Baby” is the solo debut single by Tupac Shakur, and tenth track from his debut album, 2Pacalypse Now. The song, which features R&B singer Dave Hollister, is about a fictional twelve-year-old girl named Brenda who lives in a ghetto, has a baby, and is incapable of supporting it. The song explores the issue of teen pregnancy and its effect on the young mothers and their families. Like many of Shakur’s songs, “Brenda’s Got a Baby” draws from the plight of the impoverished. Using Brenda to represent young mothers in general, Shakur criticises the low level of support from the babies’ father, the government, and society in general. Shakur wrote the song when he read a newspaper article about a twelve-year-old girl who got pregnant from her cousin and, because she didn’t want her parents to know about the baby, threw it in a trash can. The opening consists of a duet singing the songs title repeatedly. Much of the rest of the song is one long verse performed by Tupac. The verse begins with him telling a group that he has heard about Brendas pregnancy. Harvest Moon: Magical Melody – Baby Chick is Born
Posted on 23. Jun, 2010 by Young Parents Guide.
Buy a Good Egg at the Blue Sky Ranch and place it on the incubator in the upper right corner of your coop to start hatching your own cheepy, waddly little cutie. Too bad they’ve gotta grow up before they make you any G, or else I’d wish that they stay this adorable forever. You could also buy your first chicken pre-grown from the Blue Sky, and incubate one of its eggs (I’m not sure which grades of egg besides “Good” will work). However, in my opinion, it’s best to start out with an egg/chick. Not only is it cheaper, but also, when it grows up, it’ll already like you (heart level) and give you better-quality products. And yes, Robyn has a stupid animal naming pattern, as do all of our characters. Under her template, she names her animals Barky, Oinky, Mooey, Baaey, Cheepy, etc… xD The sound they make, plus the suffix -y or -ey.
