Project Head Start 2010

Project Head Start 2010 is a not-for-profit organization aimed at young mothers. Six times a year they provide a little giftbox to provide a smile for a family. In the giftbox is a pack of diapers, a few outfits, a couple toys and whatever other donations they receive. To be eligible for the giftbox you must apply every month when the application opens up. Hope on the Streets: Teenage Moms

The Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries (DRMM) Genesis House I helps teenage mothers who have no where else to turn. The program teaches the mothers how to care for themselves and their children. The young mothers like Allana Wilson will leave the program with the right tools and with a bright future.
