The hit UK series goes to the USA to fast track five young American couples to adulthood by testing just how prepared they are for the toughest job of allparenting. In an intriguing social experiment based on the hit British programme, five diverse teenage couples aged 18-20 are fast-tracked to adulthood by setting up a home, getting a job and becoming caring parents first to babies, then to toddlers, pre-teens, teenagers and finally senior citizens all over the course of three weeks. The five young couples must literally grow up overnight when they are first given a home in a quiet road in Boise, Idaho and attend pre-natal classes, with each mother wearing an empathy belly to prepare for the arrival of their baby. When a real baby appears, the nervous teens are in for three arduous days that make chilling-out a distant memory. They must stick to rigid routines, handle the feeding chores, nappies and crying, while the real parents stationed next door watch via monitor. To make the situation even more true to life, one teen from each of the couples must start a job, leaving the other alone as caregiver for the day. After three intense days, each couple bids goodbye to the baby and receives a toddler. How will they cope with the typical terrible twos behaviour, potty training and mess? Three days later, the weary couples must face the reality of parenting several sassy tweeners at once each with a family pet in tow. Finally, completing the cycle of life, the couples are
