WDAY/CBS – Teen Reporter Arrested For Filming Cop

Although No prior instances of misconduct were discovered by the news, I would love to describe the one instance of misconduct I witnessed personally. I have yet to discuss this to the public, but now with witness corroboration coming I am going to post my testimony. Last summer I was present during a search of a mans car. I witnessed it from approx 20 feet away. The man , Darrel G’Sell Sr. was traveling from St Louis to drop his 2 young children off at their mothers residence in Wahpeton ND. Hill was there upon arrival and conducted a traffic stop directly in front of the driveway, searching the mans car in the middle of the night in front of his two small children only to find nothing. The man was stopped in front of a family residence after parking, Hill claimed to detect the odor of Marijuana ..but found none. The police report should be available for public record, many other residents have asked for my help in covering a story on his misconduct. This was the first day of filming the story, I attempted to get his side…when I was immediately arrested.
