    My childhood family – 12 kids, 2 parents.

    My own family – just me and my 4 legged family – got rid of the spouse.

    I never did want to have kids – being the second oldest of that large brood above, I changed more diapers, burped more babies, walked the floor with more babies by the time I was 16 than most people do in a lifetime – but I love them all.
